Blogging To The Bank 2

Blogging To The Bank 2Rob Benwell has released Blogging To The Bank 2. I have the original Blogging To The Bank, and allthough there was nothing ground breaking in it - at least nothing that can’t be learned from a few of the better forums and blogs, I did think that it threw a few interesting ideas around.

Since Blogging To The Bank 2 is only costs $47, I though I would give it a whirl and write up a review here.

First off, the information in Blogging To The Bank 2 is not rocket science. So, if you are already making money from blogging, I would say that you do not need to buy this book.

However, I myself make my money from blogging, and am always on the lookout for new or variations on money making ideas that I use in my blogging - which is the reason that I bought it. And Blogging To The Bank 2 has enough information on this so that I am not going to request a refund :)

There are also some reasonable bonus items that attracted me to purchase it - namely the Article Submitter software, some PLR articles (always handy) and Blog Announcer Pro (not entirely sure what this is, but it looks interesting).

Ok. If you are fairly new to affiliate marketing, and you are able to follow through on using somebody elses strategy, then I can pretty much assure you that you will make money using the techniques outlined in this book. I know because I have several blogs that I have not even touched for a year and they continue to make money day after day. This is what Blogging To The Bank 2 is pretty much about. If you can get a blog earning money, then it is just a case of rinsing and repeating until you are making as much money as you need or want.

Blogging To The Bank 2 shows you how to:

  1. Set up your webhosting
  2. Install wordpress
  3. Do your market research - getting keywords etc.
  4. Creating and aquiring content for your blog
  5. Marketing and promoting your blog to get traffic
  6. Some basic Wordpress SEO techniques

Like I said before, none of this is especially advanced. But if you are an affiliate marketing newbie, it could take you several weeks to get this info from forums and blogs (And thats why I read E-books).

So take a look at Blogging To The Bank 2 and check it out further.

Who Loves Money

Who Loves MoneyI have just bought the Who Loves Money eBook and am reading it now and will post a review ASAP.

Who Loves Money is written by Kyle and Carson, the same guys who did Beating Adwords and Inside The List. I like both of these products and regularly refer back to them for information. On that basis, I pretty much bought Who Loves Money on the strength of these 2 books.

Like I said, I have just started reading Who Loves Money, so drop back soon if you want to see what I think of it.

In the meantime, check out the Who Loves Money website and see what you think.

You can also see my Beating Adwords and Inside The List reviews here too if you like.

Affiliate Commandments

I just bought Affiliate Commandments, which is the most recent offering from the author of Day Job Killer and Affiliate Project X. Affiliate Commandments is a short ebook that guides you through a few common sense aspects of internet marketing. It only costs $10 so it is worth checking out to see if it interests you.

The contents of Affiliate Commandments covers the following topics:

  1. Riding the Product Wave - Basically, promote a product when it is new or popular.
  2. Build your Product Portfolio - Don’t just promote 1 product.
  3. Track your Keywords - How to and why.
  4. Copy the Best - If it works for someone else, then try it yourself.
  5. All Keywords are not Created Equal - How different keywords inspire different actions.
  6. Adwords Copy 101 - How to write good adwords.

Like I said, Affiliate Commandments covers some fairly simple concepts. But for $10, you might want to give it a whirl to see if you can get any fresh ideas from it.

3 Easy Steps To PPC Affiliate Marketing Success

There are a number of ways to make money on the internet. One way to do this is by having a go at PPC Affiliate Marketing.

What Is PPC Affiliate Marketing?

PPC Affiliate Marketing is basically a mixture of Affiliate Marketing and PPC. And this is how it works:

  1. Find a product that you can earn a commission from promoting via your website.
  2. Buy some PPC traffic and direct it to your website page with the link to the product you are promoting.
  3. Bank the cheques.

Now that looks pretty simple and the truth is that it is pretty simple. However, there are a number of things that you have to do a bit of work on to get a successful system going. Some of these things are:

  • Get good at Google Adwords or Yahoo Search Marketing (free $25 voucher). You could start by doing the online training at the Adwords Learning Center.
  • Find some good affiliate programs to promote. Not all are created equal. Also, you want to promote something that sells itself easily.
  • Learn how to create suitable landing pages to entice the prospect into buying.
  • Create effective advertising copy to fill your landing page with trustworthy words.
  • You really need to learn how to not blow your PPC budget too!

Getting good at PPC Affiliate marketing is a very lucrative skill to learn that will provide you with another income stream to live comfortably off.

Good luck :)

Affiliate Project X

I bought the Affiliate Project X eBook a couple of months ago and decided to report back with my thoughts on it.

Affiliate Project X is the work of a guy called Chris who lives in the UK, and was launched sometime towards the end of last year.

The book itself is not too long (weighing in at just 50 pages) but is packed with no BS methods of making money with internet marketing as quickly as possible.

It begins with a chapter that explains all the resources that he uses in the book. e.g. Affiliate programs, Google Adwords, email marketing, Autoresponders, etc. And also gives some good advice on building up you portfolio of affiliate marketing products.

In a nutshell, Chris guides you through 6 distinct and laser targeted methods of generating an online income. He calls these methods:

  1. The Leech - The Art Of The Pre-sell
  2. The Affiliate Diary
  3. The Workhorse Method
  4. Thief In The Night
  5. Copy The Best
  6. The Opportunist

In spite of the “Code Names” he has given to each of his 6 methods, I was reasonably familiar with the fundamentals of each of them. However, the value of Affiliate Project X lies in the twist and lateral thinking that Chris has applied to each of these techniques and shares with us in the book.

In the final chapter, Chris gives away some great tips on using some advanced tricks to help you make more money.

Another thing that I has impressed me with Affiliate Project X is that I have received updates and an extra chapter since buying the book. It appears that Chris updates it periodically and notifies you of updates and extra bits and pieces.

I have to honestly say that Affiliate Project X is one of the best internet marketing eBooks that I have read. And I truly believe that Affiliate Project X is worth more than it’s price … and I have paid more for less useful information.

A really cool thing that I have benefited from Affiliate Project X is taking one of the methods and adding my own twist that has seen my revenues jump significantly.

Inside The List

I decided to check on some of Kyle and Carson’s other products for recent updates and found that Inside The List has had a BIG price reduction! It now only costs $49.95 for this guide to profitable list building.

When I bought Inside The List last year, it cost me $97! Never mind, it has paid for itself several times over ;)

In case you are wondering, Inside The List is possibly the best product you can get hold of to show you exactly how to build a profitable emailing list.

List building can be considered one of the cornerstones of building a successful website. By building a successful email list you will be able to:

  1. Build a database of people who want to be told about products, services, and website updates time and time again.
  2. Drive more traffic to your website.
  3. Increase sales.
  4. Make more money with Affiliate Marketing.

when you buy Inside The List, Kyle and Carson will show you exactly how to:

  1. Understand exactly what Email Marketing is about.
  2. Choose and set up an Autoresponder.
  3. Capture leads with landing and squeeze pages.
  4. Harness the power of follow up messages to create more money with multiple sales.
  5. Utilize the full potential of your email lists.
  6. Generate traffic to your landing pages with free sources and pay per click.

As well as all this, there is also a bonus section that will show you:

  • The 10 Hottest Mailing List Markets.
  • How to create promotions and incentives to accelerate your list building.
  • How to promote high paying competitive markets.
  • How to write killer advertising copy that is virtually guaranteed to sell!

Also, do not worry if you don’t have the skillset to create your own websites … Inside The List comes with a free ebook that will guide you through this process and even includes some free website templates to get you started straight away.

If you have a website that is getting traffic, or are considering getting into Email Marketing, then I would urge you to take a look at the Inside The List Website to find out how you can further your profits and conversion rates.

One thing to bear in mind if you are going to invest in Inside The List, is that you will probably want to also invest in a good Autoresponder service. This will cost you about a further $15 per month, but should definitely be paying for itself as soon as you start implementing what you learn in Inside The List.

Wealthy Affiliate Review

Wealthy Affiliate Review ImageLast week I posted my review or Beating Adwords. Today, I’m going to post my Wealthy Affiliate Review.

Wealthy Affiliate is a sort of sister product to Beating Adwords. It is produced by the same two guys, Kyle and Carson, but instead of being a downloadable ebook, Wealthy Affiliate is a members only affiliate marketing website that aims to coach you to success in internet marketing.

What Is Wealthy Affiliate?

The contents of the Wealthy Affiliate website consists of:

  • Affiliate Marketing & Advertising Tutorials - Enough material is provided here to provide a novice with the essential knowledge of this subject. Fresh ideas are also provided for people who are already experienced.
  • Video Tutorials - These show you around Google Adwords and explain how to set up an account and campaign. These would be really useful to a Google Adwords beginner.
  • Keyword Lists - There are several keyword lists that contain many keywords each. Each of these lists is provided with relevant affiliate products. You could easily set up some campaigns with these immediately.
  • Private Forums - Newbies and successful marketers gather at the forums to seek and provide advice.
  • 1 on 1 Coaching - Kyle and Carson will answer emails promptly to help you out with your campaigns. If you want to, they will log into your Adwords account to give you advice on your campaign. This helped me out a lot on my first campaign (remember to change your passwords afterwards!).

There is a whole load of other resources such as free landing page templates, case studies, and courses that I won’t go into here because it will take too much time. Visit the Wealthy Affiliate Website to find out more.

The primary method taught by Wealthy Affiliate is the PPC - Affiliate Marketing technique, whereby you promote affiliate products through Pay Per Click programs with the desired outcome of spending less on advertising than you make in commissions.

Wealthy Affiliate does not claim to make you rich overnight, but sets out a strategy for building your income over time - with goals of reaching several thousand per month after about 1 year. Many of the subscibers who take part in the private forums are achieving this and helping people who are not.

Is It Worth Joining Wealthy Affiliate?

If you are a seasoned pro at Google Adwords, then you would probably not learn much that is new to you (allthough it might be worth just joining for a month to have a poke around).

If however you are thinking of starting out with Google Adwords or PPC/Affiliate Marketing then I would definitely encourage you to join. I have been a member for a few months now and have no reason to cancel in the near future. I make more money from the ideas I get and utilize than the $29 a month that I am paying.

I have also learned a couple of other techniques from members of the private forum that are nothing to do with PPC, but are earning me extra money.

Beating Adwords Review

Beating Adwords covers in detail how to make money on the internet using a combination of Pay Per Click (PPC) and Affiliate Marketing.

What is Beating Adwords?

Beating Adwords is an Ebook that you can download immediately (after paying for it!). It is very easy to read and will dramatically increase your chances of making an income using Google Adwords to promote Affiliate Products.

It is written by two experienced and successful internet marketers Kyle and Carson who also run a website called Wealthy Affiliate that serves as a coaching forum for the information in Beating Adwords.

However, membership to Wealthy Affiliate is not necessary for what you learn from Beating Adwords (but is an extra benefit).

Of course, you could use the information in Beating Adwords to promote your own products too.

What Information Is In Beating Adwords?

Here is what is in the 87 pages of Beating Adwords:

  • An introduction that introduces the authors and gives a rundown of making money on the internet, PPC and Affiliate Marketing.
  • How to get started with Google Adwords - What Google Adwords is all about and setting up an account.
  • A really good explaination of Affiliate Marketing and where you can find great products that convert well.
  • How to advertise these products. Setting up all the nitty grit bits and pieces of you Adwords campaign and how to write effective ad copy that sells (when you only have 4 short lines of copy to play with).
  • How to outsmart your competition. This is really easy when you know how to configure your landing pages and implement effective bidding techniques.
  • Optimizing your Adwords campaigns so that you can increase your Click Through Rate (CTR) and lower you bid prices.
  • How to make web pages that sell - this is one of the key ingredients in increasing your conversion rates for a better return on investment. They include examples of effective landing pages that you can use.

Is Beating Adwords Worth Buying?

If you are planning on making money with PPC and Affiliate Marketing, then I would definitely recommend this book.

The bottom line is that as long as you take action on what it teaches you, then you will recover the cost of Beating Adwords quickly, even if it is saving money you would have wasted on in-effective advertising.

Also remember that most people lose money with Google Adwords simply because they are not aware of a few simple techniques that can seperate you from your competitors and convince your prospects to buy your products.

Get Started In Internet Marketing

If you are thinking about starting a business, and don’t want to risk too much money, then there is probably no better choice than Internet Marketing.

When I say Internet Marketing, I’m refferring to the process of promoting other peoples products on the internet to make money on the commissions for sales.

Here are some reasons for Getting Started In Internet Marketing:

  1. Low Startup Costs - All you need is a computer, an internet connection and some webhosting space.
  2. Time - You can work when it suits you. You can fit it in to evenings and weekends so that it does not interfere with your job.
  3. Its Easy - With all the online resources available, you won’t have too much trouble getting to grips with what you need to do to get started.
  4. Scalability - As you progress you will find more incomes streams become available. It is easy to scale up your business to accomadate these extra opportunities.

First, let’s take a look at the low startup costs. Low can pretty much mean free in the internet marketing business. To test the water you could set up a blog at Blogspot (or similar) and get a feel for things there.

Then, you can buy some webhosting and a domain name and suddenly everything starts looking professional for less than $100 for the first year.

Now let’s take a look at the time that it takes to get started in internet marketing. Basically you can spend as much time as you like. It fit’s in perfectly as a part time job and as you start making more money it can replace your part time job. If everything goes well, you can take as much time off as you like because your website never sleeps and will continue to make money around the clock.

But how easy is it to get started in internet marketing? Answer: Very easy. It is as easy as buying some domain hosting, getting and open source CMS installed on your website and generating content and implimenting some basic marketing skills to start driving visitors.

And scalability? Well as you start earning money from a couple of sources, you will learn many other ways that you can increase your revenues. The beauty is that once one revenue stream starts ticking over, you can then start on another.. and another.. and another.

So there is a pretty simple explaination of how to get started in internet marketing.

Now that I’ve scratched the surface, I think I will have to write some more detailed articles.

Any comments or suggestions?
