Day Job Killer is the new internet marketing eBook by the author of Affiliate Project X. Fundamentally, Day Job Killer is a sort of Part 2 of Chris’ previous eBook - which is great news, because Affiliate Project X was full of brilliant and easily usable ideas to start making money quickly on the internet.

I made it clear in my review of Affiliate Project X that I really liked the information, and was making money virtually off the bat when I had read it and implemented some to the tactics.

Therefore, I quickly bought Day Job Killer as soon as it is was released and here is a review of it.

Direct Linking X

Here are 4 simple ways to make the Google Cash method work for you again. If you are unfamiliar with Google Cash, it was a method of using Google Adwords with Affiliate Programs. Basically, you linked straight to the Affiliate page from your Ad. This became unprofitable when Google jigged their pricing algorithms and many people were forced out to the market.

However, it is back with this simple technique, and if you already have an adwords account, you could be using it in minutes. I did it in about 10 minutes of reading this with an affiliate program that I know converts. I’ve calculated that I can break even with only one sale and over 500 clicks!

The Leveller : How To Rob A Guru

This method is an extension of The Leech Method that was popularized in Affiliate Project X. And it is popular - once you read Affiliate Project X, you will start to see people using this method everywhere.

Thankfully, this chapter is packed with detailed information. I used to work in magazine publishing alongside the advertising sales team and can vouch for all the techniques that Chris explains to get cheaper ads in a print publication really work.

Copy The Best : Offline

This section is aimed at people who would be unsure about the capital outlay that you would need to advertise in print media. Here, Chris explains a way to get your ‘ads’ into the publication without having to pay. Pretty cunning, but again, from my experience in print media, I can see that this would work. It’s a pretty short chapter that covers a simple method.

One thing you will notice when you read Day Job Killer is that Chris really does not pull any punches. His writing style is straight to the point - which I like. The chapters are short, concise and packed with usable information.

Each of the above methods really takes you by the hand and walks you through exactly what you have to do - Finding a product, setting up a squeeze page, writing an ad, setting up an autoresponder campaign, what free tools to use, etc…

Sometimes, when I read other peoples eBooks (and I read quite a lot of them), I feel a bit overwhelmed and find it hard to settle down and implement the ideas. This is not a feeling I get when I read Day Job Killer (or Affiliate Project X). You are just left with simple ideas that you can start using immediately.

This is a little late, but I have just got back from the Christmas holiday and have been going through the backlog of emails. I don’t know how I missed it, but Beating Adwords has been updated - at the end of last year.

The great thing about buying one of the best resources I have read on Google Adwords (i.e. Beating Adwords) is that the guys who wrote it are updating it frequently to keep up with the changes that Google makes to its Adwords system. If you own a copy of Beating Adwords, then you are on their mailing list that entitles you to download the most recent update.

When you set up a new website, an important task to do is to do you Website Directory Submissions.

There are a few reasons for this which include:

• Getting links from sites that have Google Pagerank - so that you get some quicker
• Getting traffic from the directories to your website. If you website appears in the appropriate category, then this traffic will be targetted.
• Moving up the SERPS because of inbound links
• Link building should be part of you off page SEO campaign anyway.

If you are planning on getting a bit advanced, you would also want to look at things like Autoresponders and PPC.

Once you have got everything in place, you can work out how to get the most important thing that you are going to need to make your website a success. Website Traffic.

Website traffic is critically important because of the nature of the numbers game or law of averages.

It works like this. If you get 100 visitors to your website, then a certain percentage of them will take action on what you suggest, whether it is to click an Adsense ad, sign up for your newsletter or purchase a product.

This fundamental law of sales and marketing has been around for as long as people have been selling stuff and it is unlikely to disappear any time soon.

Building website traffic is not just about getting visitors. It is also about keeping visitors.

Keeping your visitors and getting them to return to your website can be achieved by applying methods such as increasing website stickiness and email marketing.

So now that you have set your goals for your websites success, built your website and got it online, and are getting a whole heap of visitors, remember to keep a track of what is working and what is not.

But if you are an aspiring Internet Marketer, the thing that you will want to use an Autoresponder for is to create follow-up email campaigns. This is where you can set up and opt-in list form and then send as many emails as you like at pre-configured intervals - automatically.

That is, you don’t have to lift a finger to bombard your prospects with your marketing message to buy your product.

A common example of this is where a marketer would provide a free email course on how to use his product to do something cool. The prospect gets some free information that they can use, and the marketer gets the email of the prospect, and more importantly, the permission to email them to remind them of their product.

Now autoresponders come in many flavours with different price tags.

If you allready have website hosting, then the chances are you have immediate access to a basic autoresponder that will fire off one email in response to someone contacting you.

However, if you want the bells and whistles of follow-up email campaigns, anti-spam filters, click-through tracking and template hosting, then you’re going to have to get your wallet out and pay for it.

Fortunately it is not that expensive once you realize it’s capacity for increasing your profits.
