Increase Your Traffic With Website Stickiness
In Web Traffic Is The Key To Success, I explained how increased traffic leads to increased success.
Another way to boost your traffic is to implement Website Stickiness.
In a nutshell, Website Stickiness is a term used to describe how your website visitors stay at your website and view as much information as possible.
There are a number of ways that you can implement Website Stickiness on your site. You could try the following:
- Intra-Linking - This is where you link to other parts of your website from an individual article. I did it here in the first sentence of this article.
- Categories - Categorise each of your articles. Make it easy for visitors to view articles on similar topics. The second sentence of this article links to my Traffic Building category.
- Recommend - After each article, point visitors to recommended articles of similar content.
Another good exercise is to be aware of what you do when you visit a new website. What is it that makes you stay there? What do they do to increase their Website Stickiness?
