If you are looking into making some serious money online then once you get past the fact that you have to buy a domain name, get some website hosting, set up your website, etc.. etc.. You should really want to know What Is An Autoresponder?
OK, this is going to be really basic, so if you allready know what an autoresponder is, then you may want to stop reading this and go and read something a little more advanced.
An Autoresponder is some software you can utilize to automatically reply to emails.
Basically, you configure it for a particular email address so that when an email is received it will immediately reply with a pre-written email. Often you would have seen these in the form of something like:
Hi [name],
Thanks for your email. We’re really busy right now but will get back to you ASAP.
Kind regards,
Somebody.
More commonly, the Autoresponder is used to send a message to a new subscriber to confirm their opt-in list subscription.
But if you are an aspiring Internet Marketer, the thing that you will want to use an Autoresponder for is to create follow-up email campaigns. This is where you can set up and opt-in list form and then send as many emails as you like at pre-configured intervals – automatically.
That is, you don’t have to lift a finger to bombard your prospects with your marketing message to buy your product.
A common example of this is where a marketer would provide a free email course on how to use his product to do something cool. The prospect gets some free information that they can use, and the marketer gets the email of the prospect, and more importantly, the permission to email them to remind them of their product.
Now autoresponders come in many flavours with different price tags.
If you allready have website hosting, then the chances are you have immediate access to a basic autoresponder that will fire off one email in response to someone contacting you.
However, if you want the bells and whistles of follow-up email campaigns, anti-spam filters, click-through tracking and template hosting, then you’re going to have to get your wallet out and pay for it.
Fortunately it is not that expensive once you realize it’s capacity for increasing your profits.
I use Get Response, but you should also check out at least AWebber and Constant Contact.

Hi, you got a nicely done clean site setup. By the way, any chance for you to show us how to put in tracking for each email we send out?
I am very interested to learn this. Thank you.

Adwin, it depends what Autoresponder you are using. If you use Get Response, I would be able to show you how.
